Second Shift Coffee was founded by Dave Miller, a Chicago breakfast restaurateur and seasoned coffee roaster.
After years on the front lines of morning service, Dave witnessed a crucial gap in the coffee supply chain: operators were consistently forced to choose between weak, middle-ground portion packs or overpriced specialty coffee. There was no reliable, high-quality, and consistently priced solution for everyday service.
